![]() Would like using a launcher if it wasn't for my weird controller configuration variety though, but chances are that I wouldn't have the time to really stick to using that nowadays. One big plus is that certain emulator specific settings or features are easily configurable and available in standalone (most notably setting up multiplayer on portable consoles and arcade machines). Standalone emulators, if only because all I have are DInput controllers with different button mappings (since they are all different generic models) so even if it is a bit of a mess every now and then. For now, I'll definitely keep RA on the HTPC as it's easy to have just one interface for the family. ![]() ![]() You guys have definitely convinced me to check out standalone emulators, especially if the Retroarch core doesn't work for me - depending on the relationship between RA devs and Emu devs, there may be a significant distance in the fork's features.
